African Black Soap With Goat Milk - Your 3-in-1 Beauty Bar

Testimonial: Phyllis, I just wanted to let you know that I have very sensitive skin, especially my face, and tried your African black soap because of the description on your website. My first thought was, Ok, no irritation and I noticed that my skin looked "brighter". I followed up with my moisturizer and continued with my day. I have to let you know that I walked passed a gentleman who I did not know, who immediately called to me and said, "your face really looks clean." I asked him what he meant by that because I have and am proud of other physical attributes that he could have complimented me on, but he complimented my skin. He said, "I don't know. It just really looks clean." How wonderful! I didn't have on make-up and as I got into my car, I started to inspect my face...lol! The only thing different in my regimen was your black soap. Thanks so much for making great products! I'll be re-ordering soon.

African Black Soap With Goat Milk is a conditioning 3-in-1 shampoo, face and body bar!

  • anti fungal
  • anti bacterial
  • rich in vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants
  • no sulphates, parabens or phthalates
  • brightens and evens skin tone and complexion
  • great for gently cleansing problematic skin like eczema, acne, psoriasis and dandruff

I intended this to be a multi-purpose shampoo bar, but many of my clients are not letting this bar touch their hair. They're ONLY using it on their face and skin. Why? It has a light exfoliating effect leaving your face and skin smoother and noticeably brighter from the very first use...not to mention very clean without stripping. It thoroughly removes makeup and any oily residue that is produced throughout the day, which can potentially clog pores and produce blackheads down the road...so I'm calling it a natural beauty bar!

This emollient "natural beauty bar" produces a rich, creamy, gentle cleansing lather that is mildly exfoliating and very conditioning to the skin and hair. A natural beauty bar that can be used from head to toes. Several of my clients swear by it as a wonderful facial bar that easily removes make up and doesn't leave the skin feeling dry and stripped. Over a short period of time, it also helps to even out skin tone and complexion.

As good as African black soap is, some people with skin sensitivities report mild irritations or stinging when first using African black soap. This is why I decided to create a recipe that included the milk. In this case, goat milk - making it more soothing and conditioning. Goat milk, which is thought to be high in protein and triglyceride content, is an excellent natural moisturizer. It contains vitamins A, B6, B12 and E, as well as beta-casein, which all help to hydrate and nourish dry skin and hair. Goat milk is also a natural emollient. I use it in my HealthyLocs Ultimate Dry-Conditioning Formula!

In my opinion, African Black Soap is becoming known as one of nature's best kept beauty secrets. Our sisters of Africa know all too well the beauty benefits of this exceptional soap, which keeps their skin smooth and flawless. Women in the US and across the globe have reported relief from acne on face, shoulders and back, along with an improved skin tone and complexion over time. Mothers are sharing it with their teenagers to help control their acne and the rich creamy lather is also great for shaving for both men and women.

People who suffer from the dry, itchy irritation of dandruff , psoriasis and eczema, report soothing relief from this soap. For the hair, African black soap is an excellent, non-stripping, gentle cleanser, which leaves it clean and soft - making it a smart choice for your locs and natural hair.

I encourage you to try this head to toes pampering natural beauty bar. I love it! My clients love it and it's an interesting-looking bar...lol! When used with a wash cloth or loofa, it produces a rich creamy lather that rinses clean. Very pleasantly scented.

How To Use Your African Black Soap With Goat Milk - Shampoo Face & Body Bar

FACE: Take bar and rub between your hands under warm running water to produce a rich lather. Apply lather to face and neck areas in small circular motions. Rinse. For oilier complexions, use a plush wash cloth or a very soft facial brush or sponge in circular motions to achieve mild exfoliation - concentrating in the T-zone area of the forehead, nose, cheeks and chin. No need to wash aggressively or press harder. Always be gentle and kind to your skin. Rinse thoroughly.

Make sure you follow up with your favorite toner and moisturizer.

For Hair & Locs

Thoroughly soak locs with water while gently squeezing the water through your locs for complete saturation. Wet your shampoo bar and starting at the scalp, very gently and softly "glide" the shampoo bar throughout your locs. (If you've already pre-cleansed your scalp with the "Ooh!" Scalp Detox Shampoo bar, then just concentrate on sudsing the length of your locs). Work up a nice gentle lather and rinse thoroughly and completely. While rinsing, make sure you lift, separate and gently squeeze water through your locs until the water runs clear and there are no suds left in your locs - then rinse some more.

One shampoo is usually sufficient unless you have significant build up. Repeat the shampooing process only if needed.

Tip 1: Towel dry your locs with a lint-free towel or micro fiber wrap. Spritz your locks with the HealthyLocs Daily Conditioner or the Ultimate Conditioning Formula with Goat's Milk and Shea Butter. Follow up with very light application of the "Ooh!" Scalp Serum on your scalp (if you have scalp issues - dry, itchy & flaky scalp) or just apply a light application of the Loc Luv Conditioning Hair and Body Oil to your scalp and hair (this oil is wonderful on your skin after a bath or shower. I apply it from head to toes almost daily - a great multi-purpose oil). Allow your locs to air dry or style as usual.

Tip 2 - Don't allow your black soap to sit in standing water in the shower. It will melt quicker than traditional soaps with the added chemicals. Let your beauty bar dry completely and then store on the counter or in a plastic airtight container. I just let my beauty bar dry completely on a wooden rack soapdish and leave it on the bathroom counter. It's too beautiful to store away!

A generous beauty bar at up to 6 ozs.

Ingredients: Sodium Cocoate (Saponified Coconut oil), Propylene Glycol (stabilizer/humectant), Sodium Stearate (helps harden the bar), Glycerin (humectant), Water, Sorbitol (moisturizer), Goat Milk, D-Panthenol (Vitamin B), Titanium Dioxide (whitener), Cocoa Pod Ash, Platain Peel Ash, Palm Kernal Oil, Camwood Bark, Fragrance
