beautiful instructional video. great for those of us who have long locks. greaat job!
Thanks Darlene. I enjoyed talking with you over the phone. Your products are on the way. Thanks again. Have a great hair day!
Okay I LOVE the movies. I LOVE the spring curls. Still confused on the method and pennies. I have elbow lenght SL and with summer coming I am looking for shorter style without cutting my locks. (I cut my locs two years ago from middle of back to shoulder lenght. Oh the tears…)
My hair grows fast, but since a changed to a healthier diet it is growing super fast. I would like a way to showcase it other than a ponytail.
The Spring Locks look great! What did you use to make the coils and where can the hair jewerly be purchased?
where are you located and how do I get intouch with you.
Hi Phyllis,
Nice to see you again via video. I loved it! We met this past weekend at the Locks Conference in Philadelphia. I’m one of your fellow Sisterlocks Sistas. I look forward to going through your site further and getting more of your products! You Go Girl!
Do/would you deliver hair products to Spain?
Your locks are so thin & beutiful, I am going to locks my hair and I want them thin, but don´t they break?

Phyllis Says: Hi Mandy, Yes I ship internationally. It’s flat rate shipping of $43. If you’re getting traditional locks (palm rolling), then you don’t want to start them too thin. They may break down the road if you don’t have enough hair at the base to support the length. But all locks have the potential to break even before they acquire length if you neglect them with too harsh styling, coloring and not conditioning or moisturizing on a regular basis.
I love your spring locks – thank you for the styling demo! My Sisterlocks are 10 years old (started by Sisterlocks consultant Barbara Bramwell in 1999). I took the re-tightening course and now I care for them myself. The only thing is, I have trouble holding a curl. I mostly wear them hanging straight down to my waist. But I would love to try your spring lock “mama sita coil” technique you have invented. Where can I get your? instructional video?
Hi Rolaine. The SpringLocks instructional video is just days away. I just completed my final edits and sent it off to be produced. Be sure to sign up for my email list. You guys will get first dibs at a discounted price. In November I will be working on the MamaSita Twists video. Thanks for visiting the site and have a great hair day.
Hey Girl !
you are very good at what you are doing with your locks, I just want to know where are you located .
I really would, I will make that place my vacation spot just to get my hair done by you. I find it very hard to believe that the way my locks look that it is possiable to separate them as neatly as you have done in I believe in video part 3.
I enjoyed your site and I hate to think that i was just about to terminate my dreads of 7 years in which I have already cut off about 3 years of growth. My locks are now falling out around the side edges really bad, I love the dread look and until i ran across your site i was about to do a kesiha cole look after being natural for so long i really didn’t feel confortable doing that either until i saw your site. I will not be cutting now and hope to hear from you soon you are a dreadlock saving Queen You Rock Girl.
Tracy,
You did not know it but you were speaking directly to me. I was contemplating cutting off my locs because
I did not know how to style them, I just wore them straight or in a ponytail. Some one suggested that I go to You tube to view other techniques and thats when I came upon your videoes. I will follow you because I am impressed by what I’ve seen and heard thus far.
