Cutting My Sisterlocks – How To Layer Cut Your Locs

I’m really excited to share this video with you. It’s not on YOUTUBE yet because it’s too long, but I wanted you to have the opportunity to see it in it’s entirety and without the distracting commercials on the LiveStream/Broadcast channel. However, still check out the replay of the live broadcast, because the chat session directly after the video was terrific. Lots of great questions were asked and many useful tips were shared. I’ll be coming back later to populate this post with the actual pictures that you see me taking during the video , along with some great feedback I continue to get from all of you.
My hope is that this video will give you some inspiration if you have very long locks and have been sitting on the fence about cutting your Sisterlocks or cutting your locs. You’ll get some great tips on cutting locks just by watching the video. ENJOY!!!
The next video is a live broadcasts that reveals my new haircut in the Springlocks. I absolutely loved it! You’ll see me wearing my new cut in the SpringLocks; I show the hair cutting video during the broadcast (which you can fast forward through) and then I show my hair in the SpringLocks Twist Out…Super Fab-U-Lous!!! I absolutely LOVE your hair!!!! The cut looks so good on you. I personally (IMHO) feel that your hair looks better now with the layers, it does not look so weighed down and heavy as it did before you got your haircut. You have length and bounce with the layers. It feels airy. light and full of life. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your hair!!!! I have been bouncing back and forth as to what to do with my hair for years, but I always come back to wanting to get sisterlocks. Seeing this video just cements in my mind that getting sisterlocks is the right decision for me because of their versatility and beauty!!!!! Thanks for posting this video!!!
Great cut and you still have plenty of length gurl! From experience I think the thinning is from over twisting, styling and generally too much manipulation of the locks as well as the weight which no one admits to and seem to always put it down to stress or medication.
I think you have a good lenght and it will grow back too, I personally would not want my locks as long as the creator of Sisterlocks either as I find long hair is generally ageing on a woman.
