Tonight’s broadcast may stir up a few emotions for some of us. I’ve realized over the years, and I will venture to say, that many women do not have the support of their boyfriends, husbands or significant others, when they have made the decision to loc their hair.
These women, as they are going through the locking process, have the extra burden of having to argue, defend or learn to endure and or ignore negative comments from someone that they care deeply about. How do you handle this situation? How DID you handle this situation?
Psst…I’ll let you in on a little secret. My husband wasn’t a fan of my locs either!

I would like to let the sister out their to make their onw mind up to what they want to do with the hair.We can not please everybody and we dont have to please everybody, we have our on minds to do what is right for us as women or men. Sister don’t let people tell you what you should and should not do. We are our own woman and we have to feel good about our self. My husband like me wearing my hair natural and he loves my sisterlocks. You have to stand up for what you believe in and not what people think. Stay strong, and stay for what you believe in.
