Here’s a great post about how I protect my locks at bed time. See if any of this information can work for you. Remember, for those of you who are going through your “personal summers” and can’t imagine covering your head while sleeping, just cover your pillow with a satin-like pillow case or purchase a piece of material from the fabric store and tie it around your pillow. It serves the same purpose. Check out the video!

Thank you, Thank you Thank you! Ive had my sisterlocks for 3 years now, and the advice that I have gotten tonight from your site and you tube is the best advise that I have received thus far. I will keep checking back. Now i think that I’m already addicted.
Hi,
I think your locs are beautiful!!!…I have regular locs and not the sister locs; I love some of your jewlery, but it seems like they’re only made for the smaller, sister, locs. Do you have any peices for the locs that are a little larger in diameter…and also, I saw your video on the satin like bonnet, I have starter locs they’re only 3 mos old), do you recommend the bonnet for starter locs as well…It seem that when I tie my locs down it take longer for them to spring back and look presentable.
Phyllis, I just want you to know that you have shown me how to do something that I could never do before: keep my curls almost forever! Your demonstration video on how you put your hair up when you are at home has been a Godsend to me. I can now wash and roll up my locks, and then have gorgeous, strong curls for (I’m almost embarrassed to say this –) three weeks!! I have been busy and it has been SO cold — everyone has snow these days — and my curls are STILL rockin’! I wrap up my hair using the satin bonnet, then the small stretch cap, and then a close-fitting loc soc every evening before bed. I am simply amazed. These curls ain’t goin’ NO-where! Thank you again for making locs not only easier, but fun. It is so easy to get ready for work each morning, and I can just pull off my bonnets and caps to have — VOILA! — curls EVERY morning without a lot of work. Blessings to you now and forevermore, Phyllis. You have a great thing going on! Thank you for sharing such useful
secrets. –Karen
