I love your videos you are so helpful. I need to order the conditioners that you are using in these videos. I will go to the site and order. Thank you so much for the information.
Hi Tinypuff! I appreciate your comments and I’m thrilled that you are enjoying the videos. You’re going to love the Anahita Conditioning Hair Oil and the Healthylocks Conditioning Mist. Both will get you closer to very healthy and highly conditioned hair.
The Anahita hair oil can be purchased directly from http://www.PamperDiva.com and my conditioning mist can be purchased from me via paypal. Send me an email with your address and I’ll send you instructions on how to order the mist and then I’ll mail it out to you.
Tinypuff, I’m in the process of learning how to develop a shopping cart so that viewers will be able to order directly from my site. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
Send email to phyllis@videolocktician.com
How do you currently wear your hair and what topics would you like to see me cover on this site? Also feel free to send me pictures and/or videos. Have a great hair day, Tinypuff!

Hello!
I just saw a post on the lovinlocs yahoo group and checked out your video. I am so impressed. I live in Southern California and can’t seem to find a good loctician so I’ve been latching my hair myself. I am interested in your products and also your technique to shorten the locs for styling. I was just considering cutting my locks down due to lack of styling options.
When will your technique be available for purchase? Can you recommend a loctician in the southern california area? I will keep watching your site. I really commend you on your ingenuity in keeping our hair healthy and natural.
Hi!
I too saw your video linked to the Lovinlocs chat group. I will email you to order your products.
Thank you for a great video for caring and maintaining locs!

Hi Phyllis, my locks are about 7 years old now. I’ve noticed some of my locks thinning part way down the lock and also fraying or thinning on the end of the lock. I will shampo my hair and I will see part of the lock that was thinning on the bottom in the shower. Any suggestions as to prevent this from happening? And why is it happening?
Hi Connie, I really don’t have enough information to know exactly why your hair is thinning/fraying. Do you color? Do you style your locks regularly or wear the same style all the time? Do you have traditional locks, sisterlocks, latch locks? Were you taking medication during a time which may have caused your thinning? Also, your locks are considered “mature”. For most people who maintain their locks themselves, they may have caused some damage just by going through the process of learning how to take care of their locks. Many times it takes a few years for damage to show up in locks. So if there was a time when you colored or over-twisted, or was on medication – those things may be having an effect on your locks now.
This is a response for Rosalind. I very seldom condition my locks after I shampoo. My hair is already healthy and in great condition. The misconception is that we should always condition after a shampoo. Virgin hair is healthy hair. And since the hair is locked, we’re no longer damaging it by negative grooming practices. The “dry conditioning” works well for me. I try to handle my hair as less as possible especially when it’s wet. The only exception would be colored locks. You should definitely condition on a regular basis if you have colored your locks.

Hello Phyllis, I have a question, my locks were put in on june 22, 2008, and they were perfect, but now about 31/2 weeks later the entire back of my head is not locked anymore. I have bundled the hair the way that my lockitican told me to when I have washed them, but they have still come undone, so now i am concerned that my hair will not lock at the smae rate because of this, do you have any suggestions? Thank you in advance, and just to add I love tha hair products that you sell, i just recieved the anahita’s hair oil and the free sample , thanks again
Also is it ok to dry condition my hair this early in the process of getting locks?
It’s me again, I am so impressed with Lisa’s hair, and I know that different textures may not give the same look but the results are outstanding. Where are you located? It is ok to respond to my personal email address.
