Hi, just watched two videos featuring Felicia (Silver Fox Locks). Thank you for sharing. I have an appointment to have mine installed next week but was considering coloring my salt & pepper hair before installation. Although I am mid-40s, due to family genetics, early graying occurs frequently so it tends to make me look older. After watching this video, I don’t think I’ll color before install. IF i decide to do so later after the locks have settled – maybe…but I really do appreciate your sharing your videos of this beautiful lady with her silver locks! Great job!
Hi Tee. You don’t know how much I get similar email responses to the videos of Felecia (my Silver Fox client). I’m glad it has helped you and supported your decision to at least delay your decision for chemical color processing. I’m graying, as well, but will allow it to come in gradually and continually learn to embrace the gray for the sake of healthier locs. I applaud your decision.
However, if at some time in the future you give in to color, please realize that you will need to give your locs extra TLC and my product line will help support that decision as well. Wishing you many Nappy & Happy Hair Days!
Hi Phillis,
Where is your shop located? Secondly, what is the average cost to begin Sisterlocks?
Hi Safi. I’m located in Bear, Delaware. You’ll find that the average cost for Sisterlocks will range from $500 – $800+
Mrs. Phyllis,
I was wondering if you have any loc jewelry for traditional locs? I was by your shop over the summer and picked up some hair mist. If you have either of these items available, can I stop in to purchase? I may need help installing the jewelry if you have time.
Thanks
Wanda
Hi Wanda. Yes, I have loc jewelry for traditional locks that’s not featured on the website. Feel free to call me first and then stop by. And yes, I will attach them to your locks. Looking forward to hearing from you.
I wanted to get sisterlocks for a while now and was wondering are you taking an new clients.

Hi Florene. There are many factors that can affect the health of your locks. Since you haven’t shared any particulars, it’s difficult to pinpoint what the possible issues may be. Feel free to call me during a live broadcast or call me directly at 302-836-350. Looking forward to hearing from you. Take care.
Hey Phyllis, I am looking for some advice on doing the sister-locks, and getting dread extension i have been researching and heard so many pluses and lots of negative. I haven’t perm my hear for going on 10 years now, but i have had weaves and micro braids and weaken my hear line allot. Long story short i really want to go natural and wanted to get your opinion on lock extensions and sister-locks, also where are you located and how much do you charge for installing the sister locks?
I love all your tutorials and can’t wait for the next
Blessings
Hello Phyllis
Happy Holidays…I am a natural stylist from GA and I am interested in becoming a sisterlock locktician. I went to sisterlocks.com and I saw they had training classes. Are those the only company that offers training?? Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks…Belon
Hi Belon. This is a great question. If you’re interested in actually becoming a certified Sisterlocks consultant, then the only way you can do that is through the Sisterlocks company. The company endorsed training will provide you with a thorough knowledge of locking the hair in the refined delicate locks using their patented locking tool. After your training, there will be proficiency requirements needed from you before you will be approved for certification. There are, however, other latching/looping techniques along with tools and people or lockticians who are very proficient at implementing and or teaching alternative techniques that can achieve very similar results to Sisterlocks. I, as well as other well known lockticians in the industry, facilitate workshops and trainings that teach alternative locking techniques using alternative tools and no tools.
But so that you’re clear in my response to you, the absolutely best Sisterlocks training will come from the Sisterlocks company by way of trainers representing Sisterlocks. Any other locking technique learned outside of the official Sisterlocks training, that produces similar results, is not endorsed by the Sisterlocks company, but may be, in my opinion, considered an asset that can “compliment” your Sisterlocks training. Hope this helps. Take care and thanks for posting.

Hi Phyllis,
When will the mamasita twist video be ready?
Hi Michelle. My goal is by the end of January. If not, then definitely February.
